        I'm old enough to have three children of my own. That doesn't negate my understanding of ethics. Where my children are concerned, I intend to be extremely biased, but I also expect our institutions to be impartial. If not, why should I expect their bias to consistently favor me?

        and so is in the USA, but he’s not profiting from his crime, he’s profiting from the work he does while serving his sentence. Those 2 are not the same. Also, he’s writing fiction, not nonfiction. Meaning, made up stories about the lives in prison
