They were born in a post-Columbine world of drills and lockdowns. Now children of this generation are entering the gun debate.http://nyti.ms/2HoaPGX

Debate? Due to public uneducation, students lack any logic or critical thinking skills, just like the NYT writers who want new inept clones to "argue" i.e. ape the left.

Make it at least as difficult to buy a gun as it is to get a drivers license. I am not for banning guns, but I just don’t understand how an untrained civilian can walk into a gun store and buy an AR-15 after waiting 2 minutes for a (ineffective) background check

They will simply find another way. The people of this country have had guns for over 200 years and never had these issues. The problem isnt the guns.

They're the ones inheriting our embarrassing legacy of inaction to mass shootings, I don't blame them for wanting something better. We should all be angry.

Did we give them a choice? We failed these kids allowing money to control politics. Change is coming; these kids will be at the forefront it’s not just guns, opioid crisis, and basic human necessities taken away then returning wi/a price tag bc politicians have sold out to the 1%.
