Isn’t Russia a national security threat and with more evidence of past and present election tampering this is not the big story?

The rest of the world is a threat to american security. Or, maybe, it's precisely the contrary : USA are a threat for the rest of the World. So do not travel abroad, cause you are a pest.

Tariffs just make everything more expensive for average Americans and there is no evidence they it adds or keeps and American jobs anyway

It’s not financial Threat it’s called how to create fear and still able to import and pay more for cheap stuff. We see lots of corrections on stock markets. Once the commodity prices go up we don’t see corrections there. Same with pharmaceuticals.

Dumping of foreign steel has been an issue since at least the 1980s. Not sure tariffs are the right move in a free market. American firms should evaluate labor cost per ton
