"The fact that a student is not surprised that there was another mass shooting — but this time it was at his school — says so much about the current state that our country is in, and how much has to be done.” — David Hogg, 17http://nyti.ms/2HlOvha

Taking money from the NRA is now a disqualifing situation for politicians. We can't let it stand. They are allowing our children to be murdered by weapons of war in their classrooms.

Where's the concern for our Kids.Profits over their lives. The GOP would rather accept the funding from the N.R.A than change any legislation that curbs the sale of firearms. There kids go to private schools, what do they care.(FEAR MERCHANT) ENOUGH !pic.twitter.com/HBVLEvNV43

Make no mistake- NOBODY is saying people can't have guns, we're saying you can't have THOSE kind of guns. NO ordinary citizen has any reason to possess ANY military grade weapon, INCLUDING handguns. Want a revolver? Fine. A shotgun? Fine. A hunting rifle? Fine.

Seeing these headlines makes me more and more nauseous every time. It is way past the time to put children's safety before everything and make stricter gun control laws. These situations are more than possible to stop but the government just chooses not to act, unreal.

David Hogg...Wise beyond his age. If only some of the politicians could get half of his wisdom...like Marco Rubio.

My thoughts exactly when I read this article. This boy was born after Columbine, it's all he's ever known. He was 12 when Sandy Hook happened. And watched his country do nothing. It's horrific every time, but never suprising
