"Governors order flags to fly at half-staff. Funeral services for children are staggered, so as to accommodate a broken community. Schools everywhere announce that counselors stand at the ready. And a nation sends thoughts and prayers."http://nyti.ms/2HiXkZ3

        1. In memory of 17 killed in Florida, we should not fly the US flag again *at all* until we've found a way to keep chldren safe in school. Cont. @KB805 @therealzanetta @smaddoxsr @yashar @joseiswriting @skepticalbrotha @Backstorymom1 @bennydiego @Queen_of_Bread @osirisbarros

        2. What's worse? To shoot at US flag that flies over a public school or to shoot the children who are scared to death within? The flag that flies over public schools has become a symbol of the massacres that occur inside. What good is a flag that can't protect our children?

        3. American children arrive at public schools, see the US Flag waving in the breeze and they say to themselves, "I'm going to die today." The US flag - at country music concerts, grade schools and universities - has become a symbol of the danger that awaits us in public places.

There is a way to reduce massacres at grade schools: A new "Flag Tax". To buy guns or ammunition, killers should first have to pay their purchase price, plus an American flag as a tax. This cannot be unconsitutional bc the flag is also on dollar bills used to buy arms. Cont.

When an American flag is part of the purchase price - a "Flag Tax" on guns & ammunition - purchasers are compelled to consider their allegiance to a nation of laws, to other's right to life & liberty, when buying fire arms. That symbol will deter peo who plan to break the law.

        4. A "Flag Tax" on guns and ammunition will not burden anyone's right to keep and bear arms. I merely serves as a promise to use arms in a manner consistent with a nation of laws. If you cannot pay with a US flag as part of the sales tax, you have no business owing firearms.

The US lawmakers wil copy-paste ‘OUR THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS ARE WITH THE FAMILIES’ and continue to do nothing to upset the NRA. The NRA has got them by the financial balls. And their hearts and minds always follow. Fuck the school children. Guns first.

The Governor's order to fly flags at half staff is a dereliction of duty. He should be proposing gun control legislation. His failure to do so is an insult to every person in Florida. R/T if you agree. #GunContolNow #IamProControlandIVote #BlueWave
