Time for them to go. Our voice is our vote. More of our youth need to vote. I encourage all of them to vote. High Schools need to help with voter registrations. This is a movement that could help make changes. Voter apathy needs to stop.

What a great idea - get high schoolers involved in voter reg push as a response. Could work.

Voters need to clearly show the consequences in elections. Once you vote out a majority of the #NRA supporters , Congress will suddenly discover its collective balls and vote for #guncontrol. It's as simple as that. No amount of protests can achieve anything. #VoteThemOut

Does one party control Congress and have the power to schedule votes? Is Paul Ryan a Republican or Democrat? The NYT is confusing me.

Republicans control both houses of Congress and yes, Paul Ryan is a Republican.

Thank you. I was wondering. The NYT seems to think the lack of action is a bi-partisan problem. But then 100% of Republican leadership is against action and only it has the power to schedule votes. I think I got it now.

Remember the wonderful children that have died and vote the GOP out of every office. Let their lives motivate the country to return the value of life to the highest level. We cannot let this slaughter continue. Vote GOP out.

Bump Stocks have been totally banned here in Massachusetts. Possession by a civilian here can mean 20 years in prison.

Congress passed 1.5 trillion give away to the 1%. How about they spend a few dollars to equip EVERY school in the US with metal detectors. A very small step in stopping our children from being massacred. We demand action. Not thought and prayers.

The 2nd amendment does not mention bump stocks, or automatics weapons, assault rifles, high capacity magazine clips, and so on. Having them is no one’s right.
