No men’s figure skater seems better positioned to win a gold medal at the Olympics than 18-year-old Nathan Chenhttp://nyti.ms/2EreLVA

These articles were the exact stuff that made Chen fall today. Its so misinformed and all it does is just stew up hype and pressure based on absolutely 0 facts.

Overhype just adds pressure to these young athletes, and sets them up for disappointment. As just seen in his 13th place performance. Not fair for them to be used for "dramatic rise and fall" story like that.

Yuzuru, Shoma, Boyang, Patrick, Javi, Kolyada. Love Nathan, but he isn't the surefire favorite. Also this Boyang and Shoma erasure for kicking off the recent quad race is insulting.

Today I saw Red Gerard on @LiveKellyRyan. He said, “Just keep it mellow. Everyone thinks you gotta have this crazy routine (prior to competition). But just ‘super chill.’ It’s a regular day.” The lack of “chill” sank Nathan Chen. #PyongChang2018 #iceskating #olympics
