.@nytimes Why are you glorifying this? FDA and health agencies around the world have warned the lactation-inducing drug domperidone is seriously dangerous to adults and infants. https://www.fda.gov/Drugs/DrugSafety/InformationbyDrugClass/ucm173886.htm …pic.twitter.com/xDsQOhjHuo

Transcult has gotten so powerful that it is now legal to experiment on newborns.

This is wrong on many levels. There is more to breastfeeding than producing milk and this will do more harm to the baby than good. A newborn/mother bond is something that can't be replicated. A baby knows the smell of his own mother's breast milk and it's not chemically induced.

I am a supporter of LGBT rights, but this just goes too far and it's dangerous. How can they experiment on an innocent baby first without testing this milk to ensure its safety? Also what about colostrum? That's only produced by a pregnant female. The baby misses out on that too?

Chemically producing milk in man-titties doesn't sound like the healthiest milk option for infants. But I guess it's not about what's best for the baby.

Can you confirm whether or not the person used a banned FDA drug known to cause serious side-effects because it is passed to the feeding baby? Just because you can do something, doesn't mean you should. There are plenty of mothers that can't breastfeed and use other means.

Never mind. It's there. My point stands. Additionally, is it worth potentially putting another life at risk to satisfy a whim? If we criticize doctors/pharms. for treating conditions via off label medications because of the unstudied risks, why should this be an exception?

Domperidone is not approved for this use, is not approved in the US at all, is associated with serious cardiac events and death, and is excreted in breast milk in small quantities. This was deeply selfish and needless endangerment of an infant. #peaktrans

Actually, yes. It’ll take a lot more effort perhaps but it’s possible. You know how men have the XY chromosomes? Yeah well the X is the first to appear in the womb basically getting ready for baby to be a girl before last minute deciding to be a guy.

It’s why guys have nipples despite not “really” having a use for them. So basically, depending on the circumstances, it’s possible for men to lactate. There was a case of German soldiers getting them because of hitting their pecs with their rifleshttp://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2267631/Germanys-Wachbataillon-soldiers-soldiers-developing-breasts-drill.html …

My question is just about the baby’s health. There should be a lot of hormonal activity in that milk. A man can not naturally produces breast milk..

I mean, biological male breasts have a similar structure to female breasts; I'm assuming with the additions of estrogen, it would work the same way? If you have any more research then these scientists and doctors have done, please tell me!

domperidone was the name of the drug which is not legally approved and has numerous bans and heath warnings... in the name of science a baby can be poisoned with this crap... but most pregnant women aren’t even allowed to eat their favourite cheeses 😐 makes sense right ...
