"You care more about your gun rights than the lives..." You failed debate class. Make ridiculous claim, backed by absolutely whimsy, then respond with snark question as if you won the point. If you want a discussion, then park your assumptions and ask real questions.

The shooter is first and foremost the culprit responsible for the heinous murder of 17 American school kids. How have we as a society and as a government enabled him to be able to commit this atrocity? What can we do to best reduce lethality&frequency of shootings in the future?

I have trouble seeing a need for AR-15's in regular citizens' hands. That said, there are tons out there not being used to perform mass killings. Most gun owners responsible, and then this. I wish I had a good answer.

This is a weapon of war. If you want to own a handgun or hunting rifle that is one thing. This weapon is made for mass murder and it doesn't belong in the hands of ordinary citizens.

"Criminals don't follow the law" Criminals illegally buy guns in countries with gun control, but for some reason they don't find shooting children lucrative. Are school shooters known criminals or the weak, ill or ostracized who wouldn't know how/have balls to buy illegal guns?
