“So many signs that the Florida shooter was mentally disturbed, even expelled from school for bad and erratic behavior,” Trump said. “Neighbors and classmates knew he was a big problem. Must always report such instances to authorities, again and again!”http://nyti.ms/2Eut7c3

I would like to know why our children are forced to be brave in the face of an active shooter when congress, senate, and executive branch are cowardly giving in to the NRA!!

I worked in a large urban HS as an asst. principal. There are very very few options for school personal except to talk with parents and recommend counseling. School counselors are in short supply and spend time programming class schedules and college app stuff. System is broken.

I personally think making it harder for ppl to get guns especially the mentally disturbed would be a better solution. But Donald Trump signed a law revoking a regulatory initiative that made it harder for people with mental illness to buy a gun. He suggests reporting it.

Agreed. Look at Canada's gun regulations. Common sensical, regulated and controlled. And there are still many hunters and sportsman and hobbyists. It can be done well. The NRA has destroyed common sense in the US with their $$ to politicians and connections to gun industry.

Corporate money in general is the cause for corruption pretty much across the board, unfortunately.

We know that trump is mentally unstable and that he is a big problem. Report him. Report the dotard installed In our WH. Clear and present danger.

We need to stop blaming on mental health problems instead of easy access to guns, which is the real issue here.

Clear as water, POTUS is trying to tie this tragedy to his narrative that the FBI is enemy of the country. Let's not be so gullible. This is on him and every GOP Congress member who received millions from the NRA.

@bridgetmoynahan The international terror groups can relax. Seems like the American white males are doing the job for you. Another homegrown mass shooting all because our elected officials are too scared to take a stand to protect our kids and citizens. Maybe
