Even that isn't a "cure", but if you're lucky you have a great surgeon who finds every last bit. Most with endo also have adenomyosis. The daily agony is defeating. Those who haven't experienced it cannot understand and often think you're just "weak".

In her book, Lena Dunham talked about molesting her sister. That should have been enough for you to stop covering her with such enthusiasm every time she opens her mouth.
-
It's more as compassion and it's a kind of feeling you can't share

Stop making me indirectly interact with her.

Whether you agree with this choice or not, or whether you like her or not, I'm still sticking with a woman making her own decisions about her own body.

I’m confused about why this is news.

That’s because you’re not actually the center of the universe.

Trust me you have no idea how bad it is unless you have it. I've had it as long as I can remember and the pain is unbearable at times. I've had an ectopic pregnancy and then in fertile for years. I had numerous D and Cs to hell it and was on Lupron inject for years. It sucks!

To people complaining about Lena Durham talking about her condition, do you think cancer patients should stay quiet, as well? Endometriosis is real, it affects up to 10 per cent of female population to a degree, and yet, women keep quiet.

I don’t wish to see her on my TL. So if you could not...thanks

Not. Smart. Doctors don't tell patients how damaging female castration (hysterectomy/oophorectomy) is to internal anatomy, bowel, bladder, ligaments. Even bioidentical hormone replacement (only the rich can afford) is imperfect. Dementia and mood disorder etc risks skyrocket.
-
What would you suggest then, for cases like endometriosis, ovarian cysts, uterine fibroids, etc?

Is it a ploy to gain her credibility back after basically calling a sexual harassment victim a liar in public? The extra mile some people are willing to go!!!

Aww, now she'll never get to have that abortion she's always wanted! On the plus side, though, we no longer have to worry about her procreating. Which is nice.

Hysterectomy isn't a treatment or cure for endometriosis. Stop linking it. It's damaging and misleading.pic.twitter.com/zr8oahr0u2
-
It was the answer for me. Not sure how it isn’t a solution ...
-
Not going to comment on your treatment plan, but Endometriosis adhesions are usually separate from your uterus and found in your bowel, bladder, abdominal wall, anywhere really. Also adhesions can produce their own hormones, so shutting down your cycle does little to stop them.
-
For most women problems with endomitriosis ends when one enters full menopause. But perhaps there is an exception out there.
-
Sorry, but that's not true. Endometriosis adhesions often produce their own hormones. There are scores and scores of women who have had hysterectomies but are still in pain.
-
Just want to clear up when you say hysterectomy you mean a radical one with ovaries removed. If so, we will have to agree to disagree on how useful it is. My research indicates otherwise.
-
So, according to my research, it's irrelevant whether it was radical or not, as research shows that adhesions produce their own hormones and thus don't need your ovaries to be symptomatic.
