For the first time since 1945, Ash Wednesday and Valentine's Day fall on the same day. That has created a dilemma for some Christians who observe Lent.http://nyti.ms/2HdnBYI

And when Ash Wednesday falls on Valentine's Day, Easter falls on April Fool's Day.

Holiday vs. Holy Day. Walking on water is cool and all, but up against the grocery store’s corporate seasonal aisle. . . I don’t see the Holy Day standing a chance.

Should just tell the kid his imaginary friend isn't coming back. That God you keep on a praying for, isn't coming back. Nor is Jesus who allegedly sacrificed so people would not sin. Since the Bible is all "right" according to the sheeples in America. They must fear books.pic.twitter.com/IiQ6128kod

You get one normal meal a day, make it a seafood one in the evening at a quiet restaurant. But I don't believe in either one, so my opinion is totally worthless. I just like to try solving conundrums like this as a mental puzzle. And I liked that reference by Cardinal Tobin.

Why people put up with rules from superstitious nonsense is beyond me?

Doesn’t affect you. People do it all around the world, and I can tell you it’s far more relaxed over here than in most other countries, and that includes other Christian countries.

Never said it affected me. It’s unfortunate people follow made up superstitious rules from people that have no more knowledge than anyone else. Original con job selling an invisible product.
