From @nytopinion: Each year, tens of thousands of young Israelis visit Poland in what feels like the culmination of their Holocaust education. It is time to end these trips.http://nyti.ms/2EoHaQh

Such bullshit should never have crossed NYT editorial board. Absolutely baseless piece. There IS a connection between Shoah and Israel, as there is between Shoah and Judaism, and its memory is a strong bond between Israel and the Diaspora.

The concentration camps should be required visit for every human being - an education on the darkness inherent within the human race.

Every person of every nationality ought to visit concentration camps.. To suggest otherwise is to be part of the problem.

No, not only should they visit Aushwitz, everyone should visit, to see what true evil men are capable of.

What’s your basis for that claim? Germany is one of the few countries that properly faces up to its past.

Why is it an either-or decision? You can honor the past, listen to the past, remember the past without being solely defined by it. You can visit Auschwitz and learn what happened there and still go forward.

I can't believe that this is even being suggested !! there is a moral imperative for ALL of mankind to visit to the concentration camps for their education but as a reminder as to the depths of depravity that humans can descend to. there should never be an end to these trips
