She did. And she waived that right when she signed the disclosure on the back of the winning ticket. Maybe she should have read the fine print.

According to the news story, one of the arguments is that neither the ticket nor the website makes it explicit that she is waiving her anonymity by signing the ticket.

Oh. Well I stand corrected. Really she shouldn’t have signed anything until going directly to the lotto offices. That’s what I always said I’d do if I ever won. Skip work. Get in the car. And drive there.

THIS. Right here. I applaud first @MissWoogle then @raif_nation for, respectively, her polite correction and his initial, seemingly good point and, then, humble admittance of being stood corrected. Kudos, again, her primarily but him, too. #gold #silver #civildiscourse

Lol. Twitter can be a very nasty place. I try not to be like that.

Ditto. There is absolutely no need to be nasty. Just be civil and treat people the way you want to be treated.

A good lawyer can probably find a loophole, right. Like id love to do a presser with different masks on.

If the lottery ticket is the contract. If it doesn't say she CAN'T remain anonymous, then she probably has a good case.

always pays to read the fine print and talk to the lawyers first... and with over half a billion dollars she should be able to secure herself just fine.
