FBI director: FBI gave the White House a partial report of problems in Rob Porter's background in March, months earlier than the White House has said it received the informationhttp://nyti.ms/2ChMT4w

Like everything else with this administration, it will soon be swept under the rug even though it would amount to a massive scandal under any other president.

How so? Regardless of timeline, if Porter was granted a security clearance there is no story here.

I’m sure you took this same cavalier attitude about what happened in Benghazi, right?

Are you really comparing these two situations? Vastly different scenarios. The FBI says it followed protocol, if the FBI granted him security clearance there is no story. If FBI did not grant clearance then there is a story and WH has some explaining to do.

So you’re ok with the White House continuously changing (lying) its narrative in this story?

If the FBI granted him a clearance, there's no story. If the FBI did not grant him clearance then there is a story in which the WH needs to answer and clarify its responses but we don't know if he was or wasn't granted clearance.

Investigation, administratively, closed in January (but when? Early or late). This all came to light last week - my question would be when did the WH know the investigation was completed and why didn't they act sooner.

Told you so. I've had background checks done on me, local/State/Federal. It doesn't take that long. It's the government. WH knew he wasn't cleared, but I see they refused to acknowledge that. But Jared isn't cleared. If you did deeper Porter and Jared are not the only ones.

So have I. 28 pages for State Department, working (cooking for) Secty State. Can't get much closer than that! I had an overstay in Japan that cost me a clearance for 1yr, found within 3 days of turning in paperwork. THEY LIE!! #Deplorable #CleanTheWhiteHouse

They lie. Sarah can't keep up with the lies. She making up department this that and other? It's someone else fault. But WH knew last year, but they don't care unless they get caught. LOL

They'll weasel out somehow. This time we're in is truly disheartening and disgusting. I used to live in DC. Working around the political arena, now I really don't recognize it. It was NEVER perfect (or even good) but some was recognizable. This food box BS!! WTAF? #IDIOCY

Truth is Trump’s WH would have let Porter continue to work there, probably would have promoted him even!!! But the media made public what they already knew.
