He LIED to more than half of his base, who are old folks from those states....that he would not touch Medicare. Serves hem right if you ask me. I am a far off from Medicare. Trump will not be president by the time I get there.

Oh that is not hard to figure. Medicare starts at 65 years of age. And worse case is that Trump gets 8 years in office. I still will not be there. The old folks who put him in there will have to deal with it. Not me.

Let's just say you got hurt, couldn't work anymore, hopefully not... in that case you may need Medicare and Medicaid before being old. It's not just old people... It's children and young adults also.

Medicare is for the old. Medicaid is different. I hear they plan to cut Medicare. And by the way, why segue from the crux? If you are old and voted the man in, you better expect to suffer the cuts. Not me. That's my point. Sorry.

I know what Medicare and Medicaid are and it's not just for people over 65.

There you go, any increases in wages for the working class taken away by cuts. I knew it was coming. What a joke.

You're right, let's not heed the advice of 90% of economists and cut entitlements, let's continue to run up trillion dollar deficits.

I’m super interested in how exactly this will be explained... will they rely on the debunked welfare queen? Or maybe demonize young professionals with student loans? Retired federal workers? The disabled? The elderly? It’s almost impressive how many ppl he plans on alienating

Remember this is all about choices. If there’s no money to sufficiently support Medicare, it’s because Congress and the White House chose to give tax cuts to the wealthy instead.

Medicare+Social Security are funded via separate taxes. Periodically Republican presidents have raided the trust funds to pay for wars or other spending that was NOT supposed to come the trust funds. Now the GOP wants to raid the funds for tax Cuts for the rich. More for Kochs!

So much for that "promise" to the #maga folks, especially the old ones, that he would never cut Medicare. The con man strikes again.

Do we need to spend $700B annually on our mil? If so, I think we should reassess how we view & approach the world. No other nation spends this much. This is gov spending as a passthru to the MIB military industrial base to line their pockets

True and true, sir. The handling of NK worries me all the more because the Dump admin would love nothing more than a conflict. When he's not twittering away Trump is raindancing for it I'm sure. A military parade?? Come. On.
