Russia has a lot of fans waving its national flag and cheering, without much complaint from other athletes or spectatorshttp://nyti.ms/2Cctpy6

#GoRussia! The audience has every right to wave whatever flag they want to.

What an inaccurate title! Thanks for erasing the Canadian and Japanese winners of their categories. I honor Evgenia and admire her skating but let’s not pretend one category = dominance

People are too busy watching the athletes which is much more enjoyable than getting bent out of shape about the politics.

Russian figure skaters are as responsible for Putin and the election hacking as I am for every dumbass thing Trump does. Don't vilify an entire country of people because they have a corrupt leader they have no power to change.

It's weird. I mean, I'm glad that some athletes get to compete no matter what, but I'm not sure what the actual punishment to Russia for sustained cheating actually is? I mean, ban them, don't ban them. But this is kind of a no-ban ban. Sort of meh.

Just because they don't show it to your eyes just not mean there isn't resentment. Korean figure skating fans especially are not happy but they are not going to start a fight
