Children are actively seeking clues about what their gender identities mean; toys and play should give them space, not narrow their choiceshttp://nyti.ms/2Ca8fR1

Can we just let kids be kids and stop making their toys and playtime political?

The problem is you’re doing exactly that when you consciously or not pick all the pink dolls and ponies for girls and cars and action figures for boys. Wondering if maybe your daughter might like to play basketball or your son with the creative jewellery set is not a bad thing.

So wait. I've been a kid before and never heard of identifying as something other than male or female until I was an adult. How about this, there are two genders, let THEM decide then THEY are ready.

Ever since I first heard of young children identifying as "transgender", I've wondered whether they would think that way if they hadn't been brainwashed into thinking girls wear pink & play with dolls and boys want to be cowboys or soldiers and carry guns.

Such questions never entered most children's heads, and they grew up happily, comfortable in their own skins, until people with adult agendas began meddling.
