I love how they show a Man running with five pound dumbbells as weight training. The excessive amount of protein stimulates muscle growth only if Muscle is being resisted by weights, and five pound dumbbells will do nothing for you, leaving your kidneys to try to figure it out.

An outstanding way to increase your risk of heart disease

This diet is wonderful for diabetics. It's gotten my uncle and my BFF off of the metformin. I'm starting to cut carbs (sugar) just in case. So far -- 7 lbs in 2 weeks without lifting a weight. Obviously, heart disease is not a concern in my family.
