Their new policy leaves me wondering more about quality than returns abuse. Lifetime down to one year is a big change in direction.

New return policy is fine but GO BACK TO QUALITY PRODUCTS OF 20 years ago. Their stuff of recent years has drastically decreased in quality for the price.

Seems like 30yrs ago, they limited kids clothing returns, cause parents would return kids clothes for larger sizes, as they grew!

        1) In reading commments here, have to wonder why anyone thinks the owner’s political leanings are relevant. Is NOTHING above politics now? 2)I don’t blame @LLBean for changing their policy. Why should they lose because people abused it?

How much was abuse costing and how much was LLB making for being famous for standing behind their products? I can count on REI. No interest in LLB.

It was costing 250 million a year the same amount as their sales for their most popular boots.

I don't believe that number. A COO says $250m and expects to charge the same and inflate profits by the $20-30m it actually costs them. I'll shop at REI.

I'm glad they are doing this! I hate to see such a nice company being abused! I know someone that had a dog destroy a bed and they had the nerve to return it. I will they to buy more at @LLBeanFreeport .

An owner of this company supported Trump's election. You reap what you sow. Doesn't surprise me their customer service has declined like the quality of our national leadership.
