When someone else owns the land you sleep on, you don't get to keep the money you make. Adam Smith: "As soon as land becomes private property, the landlord demands a share of almost all the produce." Karl Marx: "Monopoly of land is the basis of monopoly in capital."

Kinda hard to invest in stocks when you’re just trying to make rent on time. The wealth dispawity in this country is appalling.

The problem is that when it crashes those 10% manage to take the other 90% of us down with them.

And not coincidentally, 83% of the wealth transfer from the working class and the middle class goes to the richest of the rich in the latest tax "reform" enacted by Republicans. The benefits for the rich are permanent; the short-term tax cuts for the rest of us are temporary. – at Wilson's Sports Center

Of course they do. But we give them a BIG tax cut! That's what we need to do -- throw money to the ultra-rich and let the rest of us struggle with bills and house payments and even food. We have GOT to stop this shit!

That’s why the tax rebate is even a bigger joke. Of the trillions going back to these corporations less then 10% will ever go the workers.
