You should be asking the teacher why the heck they left the classroom in the middle of a test

Yes, leave an anonymous note with their names. Try to understand, if you worked at a company and saw three employees commit fraud, you'd be breaking the law, if you didnt. Early behaviour, governs future actions. If not corrected, those individuals go on to much, much worse.

I agree to some extent, however there is a huge difference between cheating on a middle school test and committing fraud. If anything in this particular case, their punishment is falling behind academically. Especially on other tests where they can't cheat.

As a teacher, I say no. That is my job, and if they were able to cheat w/o being caught, good on them. However, to those saying "not if you want friends", I would say that a person whose friendship is contingent on aiding their crimes, that isn't a friend you want...

At my boyz’ school, the Character education is woven into the daily life. Boyz must uphold the Honor Code on assignments by signing a pledge that says, “I will not lie, cheat or steal or tolerate those who do. I have abided by the Honor Code on this work.”

Report the teacher (anonymously if possible) and try to get the test invalidated without ratting out your friends by name.
