        The market runs on a "boom bust" routine. It goes up and up, and then every now and then it crashes. When it crashes that's when people who do not have large investment portfolios loose lots of money. Everyone can lose, but it usually hits small investors, or so it seems.

        Faith in the US market has dwindled after years of the institutions supporting it have degredated. Faith in America has become null. Mental illness has destroyed this country from the inside out on such a level that we can't even acknowledge the opiod epidemic is a symptom of it.

        Prices of consumer goods have been going up but wages have not in fact has declined for many since 2009. If the labor mkt tightens & wages go up producers of goods/svcs pass that on to consumers. Feds system is antiquated & they know this.
