And then he defends Roman Polanski and says the drugged 13 year old “wanted it.” Fuck you, Quentin Tarantino.

No. NO!!!! This doesn't get to be the narrative. Did QT 'regret' spitting in her face or choking her? Men don't get to say "I now know I made a mistake when I did [insert thoroughly abusive thing here] and I regret it [because I was called out]. Are we good now?" NO!!! #TimesUp

Then why did she not walk away from the project immediately? She instead took the money and the fame that came with the film. Why must women blame men for things after the fact, voice up immediately, and walk away from the money and the fame!!!

Why, why should women be the ones to pay the price when they are mistreated. Why should we have to give up our jobs and other activities if we are harrassed, assaulted, abused or oppressed? No absolutely not.

shocking that a man who shoehorns the n-word and violence against women into his films would turn out to be a bad dude

And if the accusations were never made he would have NO regrets. Another self indulgent Hollywood phony. Quentin say hi to Harvey for me, I won't be seeing anymore of either of your films

This makes me feel incredibly protective and emotional - in my eyes Uma Thurman has experienced a traumatic event that could have been avoided - and all under the watchful eyes of an experienced director and crew. How horrible and life changing for her.

This should be a lesson for everyone in perception. Uma perceived anger from Tarantino in his communication. He didn't think it was that intense. Sad that a great collaboration had to end this way.

There is little scarier than barely concealed anger "disguised" as smiley-ness. I sincerely doubt he was calm.

I was sexually assaulted in my http://workplace.You 're saying the cost of greatness for women is oppression, assault, harrassment and abuse? No. I was not a sacrificial lamb, I have the right to expect I will not be assaulted by colleagues, nor placed in unnecessary danger.
