Elliott Kline, also known as Eli Mosley, is a rising alt-right leader who depicts himself as an American patriot and Iraq war veteran. But our investigation found that his personal narrative — like much of the alt-right’s messaging — is built on deception.http://nyti.ms/2GRxo6U

By investigating an emerging leader in an extremist movement, we hope to offer Times viewers a deeper understanding of the people and forces behind these groupshttp://nyti.ms/2E3mUnb

I wish these people would stop pretending their racism is patriotism.

Just started watching this. It's such an eerie sight, especially for a German. I have seen scenes like this many times in old films, shown in school, in museums, at memorials. This is a nazi party tribute group. It's utterly ridiculous and frightening at the same time.

You are a human, no better than a human from another part of the world. The only thing your land or culture has given you is your self image.

But as long as folks want to continue feeling superior to others they will continue to repress others creating situations of strife.

The idea that I'm better than someone from anywhere else because of where I'm from is an idea based on ignorance and continues the accepted practice of the repression of others. Opening you land to help others in need is an act of compassion and acceptance.

So just exclusion? Where does that get you? Exclusion of those suffering, exclusion of those being repressed, exclusion of those different to your cultural ideals. There's no empathy or compassion. No willingness to help those that are different, and based on what than?

Can you call him a white supremacist leader instead of "alt right?" We let this ideology love on by continual rebranding
