Should have reported about the unlawful swearing in.. There's so much beauty in Kenya, focus on that...
-
I'm surprised at the very convenient, one-sided narrative. Where was the fear when an electoral 'loser' swore himself in as president & the govt handled it bloodlessly? Where was international media then? Or now that it affects their friends & colleagues it's suddenly a crisis?
-
Are you talking about Kenya or the USA?

Democracy in Africa is and perhaps will always be a dream as those elected do not wish to step down & corruption is usually overlooked. Tanzania is the only country that has probably a stable government with a democratic touch. A lovely blessed continent with insensitive Govts.

Some people in Africa live alot worse than we do here in
just that all probably do is surf through the Net. And coin a hypothesis. And the internet tells alot of things differently. We Elect these people for a Reason. Ever thought that
-
You are partially right. I know East Africa first hand having lived in Tanzania long enough with very frequent travelling to other parts of Africa. Yes, it is lot worse in many parts like DRC, South Sudan & Somalia to name some. Only people can change it with sincerity & Courage.
-
Glad to hear you been in Bongoland .... However, To create a fair and sincere comparative Analogy, the parameters need to be similar interms of GDP, Infrastructure, Human capital, Economic strength, population density, amongst other key factors. Politics is a sidebar wager.
-
You are very right, but conditions, political and otherwise, do determine a general standard of a nation. Due to extreme diversity in Africa it is practically impossible to find a common denominator to determine financial, social and industrial growth and development correctly.
-
True. The African people have the will to advance and enhance continental cohesion and integration. Many Africans and Especially Kenyans are innovative and pretty hardworking. The determination is Real. But so is the struggle! And politics does little to Avert detriment
