Remembering aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. White people foraging: "Fortunate to find supplies" Black people foraging: "Looters!"

Of course this behavior is OK when your favorite sports team wins a game and NOT when you're fighting for your civil rights

Just to be clear, is it official policy of The NY Times not to say rioting and looting when white people do it?

Do what the players do! High five, hug, chest bumps, drink Champaign. You don’t see the players out trashing the place.

Normal supporters don’t earn 15 mill a year.

What is wrong with people? There’s no reason to destroy things in celebration. When the Cubs won the WS after a drought of 108 years, fans certainly celebrated but didn’t destroy.

Very proud of my Cubs fans for not destroying Chicago in November 2016 :)

Baseball is as rowdy as golf.

Haha I know. But people love talking about how rowdy Cubs / Red Sox / Yankees fans can be. I remember people making snarky comments like, Chicago is going to be a ball of fire if the Cubs win, etc. But when there were no riots suddenly no one remembers remarking such a thing.
