Apple could just reduce the price of a new iPhone and I'd buy it.

Here's the solution to the IPhone slow down. Stop buying Apple products. People should be boycotting Apple because of this. WAKE UP!!!!

Batteries Plus will do it, I got my glass fixed and a battery half-off. It was done in an hour. $144 out the door. You don’t have to wait.

Hmmm! I went into an Apple store in central London, when I got lost because my battery let me down while navigating the city. It was done in 2 hours, for a FULL price of approx 70 GBP. Maybe Apple has TWO categories: full price and "special" price!

This is a nutty idea.. go to a local repair shop? Find a reputable phone repair? A tall order. I got 2 iPhone 6 batteries waited 2wks and the installations were complete in 1 hr. And if something gets messed up they’ll probably give you a brand new phone. Apple is #DTRT

To be fair, the iPhone 6+ is the only affected one that is not even manufactured anymore. I work at an ASP location and the other models are just a few weeks wait time. Besides, it's not like something actually happened the moment this was revealed. Your phone was already slow.

You totally understand it all wrong. All batteries degrade over time. Apple slowed down the processor to prevent battery draw from peaking too badly which could cause errors/shutdown.
