        I stopped reading at "collapse of the unions". Are you kidding me?! This has been a strategic and ongoing attack by the GOP for decades. Wages for the average worker has stayed around inflation for that same amount of time. Corporate greed is your answer.

        The average worker's wageshas flatlined around in relation while CEO pay has increased 400-700% since the 70s. Right there is your first indicator of why wages have flatlined. 9 years, are kidding?! This is a decades old problem.

        More than half of all Americans are not invested in the stock market. Close to 60% have less than $1000 in savings, and nearly 40% have no savings at all. I'm glad you're doing well, but many, many others aren't.

        We need decent Tax policy. 1. Stop giving tax breaks for executive pay. 2. Start giving tax breaks for non-executive pay. 3. Tax penalties to corporations that have full-time employees that need public assistance due to non-living wages.
