80% increase in population since 1995 (from 2.4m to 4.3m) plus a drought for 3 years. This is not a short term issue. It will happen again and again if it is not addressed. Massive population changes have this impact: water is essential.

One of the many reasons I fought the misguided bottled water ban in Concord. A) People need water to survive and B) Disasters, wars, droughts & emergencies happen. It's naive to think you can wave a magic wand & have water delivered under any circumstance

Poor management, you can't function without drinking water, why didn't they start rationing sooner rather than later. In Australia we've had to have water restrictions and they do work if everyone pulls together.

In todays world there is no reason every person on earth can not have clean drinking water. This is so wrong and yet can be fixed very easily. The reason it not been fixed is simple. There is no way for people to make money on giving people clean drinking water. SAD Very SAD
