        The monkey experiment was terrible. However, according to the Dirty Money episode, VW originally wanted to do *human* experiments with people on exercise bikes breathing exhaust. (These people must have ice water running through their veins.)

        These are supposed to be smart people!! I think their lawyer told them the optics of a former Nazi-supported company gassing people would be bad. (Funny how *they* couldn't connect those dots.) Seeing the monkeys suffering was horrible, because they had no way to opt out.

        FU Volkswagen! I think criminals like rapists and murderers should be used for research instead of fur children. I would include people who abuse animals too.
