Dear NYT and who was in this elite rescue team? Heroic fight with time and weather of Polish climbers (@AdamTheClimber, #DenisUrubko, #JarosławBotor, #PiotrTomala) who came there from K2 base is worth mention. #NangaParbat

Is it too hard for @nytimes to say that members of the elite team were Polish climbers: @AdamTheClimber, #JarosławBotor, #PiotrTomala & Russian #DenisUrubko? The rescue action was launched after declaration by Polish government to cover all costs of the action #NangaParbat

Nie napisać, ani słowem, że akcję ratunkową przeprowadzili @AdamTheClimber, #DenisUrubko, #JarosławBotor oraz #PiotrTomala? Nie rozumiem tego.

It is however extremely important that Polish rescue team members were climbing two times faster than estimated time while climbing at night, and probably this effort resulted in finding Eli Revol so early.

Its a shame that there is no mention of 4 Polish🇵🇱 heroes @AdamTheClimber #Urubko, #Tomala and #Botor who have shown bravery and put their lives on the line to rescue #Revol from the killer mountain of #NangaParbat. Climbing more than 1km for 5-6h at night is remarkable success

Not sure how I feel about this. These folks can choose to do extreme things like this if they like but putting rescue teams in danger is not cool. Just saying

I think the rescuers are of the same 'community' as the climbers... I guess nobody forded them to go there and try to find the two ones.

I thought the rescuers are county and /or area workers that have to do it as that is their job

This "Team of private climbers" paused pursuing their lifelong dream of being the first ones to conquer K2 in winter and went to help those on #NangaParbat... True heroes

Isn't it about time to ban individuals climbing "killer mountains". When they get in trouble they put others lives in danger and run up a huge bill needed to rescue them from their own folly.

While any loss of life is sad, the level of narcissism displayed by the people is ridiculous. They not only endanger their lives, but the lives of others. Why don't you all just go get another fucking hobby?
