Icy conditions are nothing to Russians. Protesting against a man who never holds fair elections and kills his opponents and detractors is brave.

Considering fact that US presidential general elections offer just as little real choice, it would be nice to see Americans demonstrating about that lack of choice instead of trying to bully each other into being silent about it.

Don't quite agree with you but understand your point. We have Dem , Repub, Independent, Libertarian, Green, Socialist. That's 6 in all, but Russia only has Putin as other dictatorships also only have one. Not too bad. Maybe they all aren't stars but we do have choices.

But the other parties don’t stand a chance when they are under funded and not given a voice during debates. They should be allowed to participate in the public debates. Without that, no one hears them.

Agree with you and feel it is wrong that their voices aren't heard. This is why it is so important all voters read, listen and learn about each candidate before choosing who to vote for. An educated voter, regarding all issues, makes for a healthy caring government.

Why isn't the mass protest of Congolese people against their dictator in power being covered here? The police are shooting and killing them inside churches, but yet no coverage whatsoever... 😢😢😢

Was not aware of these occurrences. Very good question. Why aren't these protests being covered? Is it because troll in our WH sucks all the air out of our media and press, so there isn't time to notice anything other than 71yr old toddler on Pennsylvania Avenue? Stay safe!

Well, the media is corrupt... They only cover what they're dictated to cover. We all know that DRC is one of the richest countries in terms of natural resources in the world. Many powerful countries benefit from the instabilities and corruption in that country.

How do you know the media is corrupt? Don't mean to be unpleasant, just want to know where you learned the media is corrupt.

Well, I don't really think we have to look further in this case for my answer. We can just stay there in the USA, and isolate two news broadcasting networks e.g. CNN and Fox News. I'm pretty sure you will know how I knew about this. There are countless of networks we can observe.
