Many of the parents heard in court that they were present when Dr. Nassar abused their children, using his body to block their view as he leaned over the examining tablehttp://nyti.ms/2GbCVEQ

Many knew and also reported this. The were ignored or intimidated by MSU and Olympics committee. That is the story now. Try to grasp the scale of this. It dwarfs Penn State or Baylor.

Weird how this monster was protected for so long. Wonder if he is a part of something larger. Maybe a journalist could look into why it took so long for this to come to light. There's a story there. I am sure of it. #drnassar #childabuse #gymnastics #pedophilia

Possible slight silver lining - that parents re-examine this frantic cultural need for kids to excel at sports, dance, music. "Sportsmoms" should become a thing of the past. Spoken as a former one.

Don’t be an ass to people who are hurting beyond belief. You don’t know them. Enough judgment on them. Clearly he is a master manipulator as he did this to hundreds of girls. GFY with your BS judgment on their intentions.

I know them because I played sports as a kid. I know while some parents want the best for their child, some are using their child for money and others were living through their child.

While it is sad this has happened to many kids, mainly kids, as a parent they should be ashamed of themselves.

You think they’re not?! They’re asking themselves how they missed it when they were In the damn room. Walk in their shoes, then come back. Again, stop.

No excusing what this creep did, but surely it is time to take a hard look at the drive to turn kids into elite athletes, the system it engenders, the toll it takes on these kids and their families.
