        Doctors don’t charge $40k for that procedure. Be pissed at the system, sure. But hospitals charge that much because insurance will pay it (medically necessary of course); not the physicians performing surgery, anesthesia, etc.

        Well hell no wonder increase in cost, long time to get a visit to the Dr, increasing pharmaceutical costs, and have you noticed nobody mentioned the out of control dental care most can't afford it

        In October, I had an ER doctor send me home with an ovarian torsion. I can't sue the hospital, because I didn't DIE. So yeah, there's a lack of trust there.
