The judge in the Larry Nassar case opened her courtroom to any victim who wishes to speak, for however long she wishes to speak http://nyti.ms/2Ga1m5C pic.twitter.com/YGMFBOH1rV

I know nothing about this case but allowing the self professed victims to rant on Surely amounts to mob rule not justice.

There is a point to be made here though. Victim impact statements detract from an impartial justice system. Judges most certainly can be pressured into appealing to mob rule as opposed to ruling fairly and affording defendants due process.

Since you stated, “I know nothing about this case”, this sicko was already sentenced to 60 yrs for a child porn charge. He’ll die in prison. Letting his victims have a chance to speak is empowering for them but also serves as catharsis. There is no mob rule at play here.

Larry Nasser is a PoS. Why did MSU protect him? They’re are plenty of qualified doctors to care for athletes. Rachael Denhollander gave a powerful speech. 😭

It definitely shows how staggering his abuse was and calls attention to those who enabled his behavior. I think this serves a great purpose.

Yes this POS is blaming the judge for imaginary slights and whining about having to listen to his victims.

Here's an Egyptian doctor assigned to look after beautiful young women for decades, his background should raise Red Flags, but in fact even specific complaints were brushed aside by folk in charge! Was it Political Correctness at work here???
