WTF? Now he's against laundry?
-
I am generally against high tariffs but I did want to clarify what u are thinking. U do know that he is doing this to benefit American manufacturers and jobs? Does that impact your opinion?
-
What about consumers?

Sounds like yet another gift to the fossil fuel industry.
-
Exactly. I understand Trump is bringing back rotary phones, too.

What for? American washing machines are the strongest and most durable; wash cleaner than clean and dries crisp like Kettle corn. Maytag forever. Oriental washing machines are like what they are plastic toys pretending to wash.
-
Bro, Maytag is just a Whirlpool washer with a maytag badge. Not nearly the same quality as their old machines. And guess what Whirlpool means when they say "Assembled in America" You've been buying oriental for years.
-
I meant Maytag in 1982 in the basement of Harvard Law School dorm taking in loads of washing. In 1982 America still protected its best. Now even Brooks Brothers woolen shirts are made in tropical places. How is that possible?
-
Doesn’t it just mean that the U.S. economy has moved on from producing manufactured goods such as these to a more services oriented economy?
