This is what happens when you keep Trump far away from negotiations.

Sounds like victory to me. The pressure is on Reps now to pass DACA or see the news cycle filled with families being broken up and crying young people - all this during an election cycle.

I wouldn't call this a victory, to be honest. Republicans live for that stuff nowadays for some reason. This "them" vs "us" mentality plays well to their base. I'm just hoping that people show up this year to vote and give Dems leverage to stop breaking up families.

Agreed in part. The political fight is for those voters in the middle. The bases of each party will vote no matter what. The Dems need to court the folks in the middle to flip the House.

Well said. I stand corrected. This may look bad to the people in the middle; the people who actually could go one way or another. Sometimes I forget those people exist

Trump, you think you won. Wait a few weeks and you will see that if you don't sign a good bill, the government will shutdown again💪💪

To continue "talks"....? I sure hope there's something more substantial than that. Otherwise it's a ruse.

Why would @SenateDems trust ANYTHING @SenMajLdr "promises"? His track record is NOT of someone who burden's himself with something as pesky as keeping his word.
