Penélope Cruz is not Latina, she is Spaniard. Latinos are born in Latin America, Spaniards or Spanish, in Spain.

Hispanic refers to Spanish-speaking countries, which includes Spain. Latino would include all Latin-American countries.

I don’t see us #Latinos in magazines, award shows, in #Fashion, #Hollywood lead roles, the list goes on! I mean look around. It’s a major problem. We are so much more than just @Jlo @SofiaVergara @salmahayek We must be a part of the narrative on all levels! That’s #diversity.

What about Asians? When will there’s. Or Indians. Why do we need to go one race at a time? There’s never been a totally Asian cast member on SNL or Indian for that matter? Can’t we just fight for diversity and not make it about one group?

Yeah I know right, I’ve been saying this the entire time when people were pushing for more black roles. Why can’t we just let everyone on board, and that’s the real issue.

Yeah, I think that a huge part of the problem is the people who do the casting have zero imagination. Maybe less.
