Good going, @Delta ! People with real service animals will WELCOME better regulation for the protection of themselves and their animals.

Because service dogs are clearly the problem with air travel in today's world...

Actually it is. There is no consideration for people who maybe allergic or terrified of dogs. It's one thing if the animal is in a carrier but the companion animals are not always contained.

Where does one person rights stop for someone else? What happens if the passenger near by is allergic to dogs?

Good! Everyone with a dog or a cat today feels that they "need" their pet while traveling. I'm so over it. There are individuals who actually need their service animal and others who just need a hug #getoverit

Maybe Delta should consider offering alternate travel options for animals that aren't practically a 50/50 chance of death.

I totally support this crackdown on phony "emotional support" animals wholeheartedly! Stay home if you can't travel without an animal at your side. And don't forget to clean up that mess!

I know people who actually pay someone to get the "papers" and harness wrap just so they can take their dog on planes or anywhere. The dogs are not really certified but in this pc world you can't question them on it.
