People often apologize once they are caught.

When you're that hateful in your past, it catches up with you. He will need to work diligently for the rest of his life to make up for it, if he cares at all about restoring his name. Karma.

If he's sincere, and has really had a change of heart, then he is courageous and I hope he continues to grow and change. My problem is I'm skeptical re a chump appointee having a heart, or being capable of sincerity.

Although he mocks PTSD, he shows signs & if he has it I hope he gets relief/help.

Sometimes people have to break completely before they get help. That could explain this guy. If it's true I hope he does get the help he needs. If he's just playing another manipulative lying game, I hope he rots.

Mr. Higbie said he opposed homosexuality in part because he was “molested by a gay guy” when he was a child. “So I, I just, I really don’t care for them,” he said in 2013. MOST PEDOPHILES ARE HETEROSEXUAL. DEAL WITH IT.

You would never make that statement to a woman who was raped, telling her that most men aren't rapists. And how does that comment even help this man deal with his trauma and PTSD as a result of this predator.
