Over cheeseburgers, Trump and Chuck Schumer struck an outline of an agreement to keep the government open. Then everything fell apart.http://nyti.ms/2DT7pLf

This article misses a detail: After #Trump suddenly abandons the deal and speeds the government toward shutdown, the NYT pushes out an alert blaming Democrats for the mess.

Their Tweeter seems to either have an agenda, or be young and too inexperienced to understand the implications of what they wrote. Either way -- unacceptable.

This is a very weird headline since only 45 Republicans voted to move the bill forward. How can Democrats "block" something that only 45 Republicans support? pic.twitter.com/D8irIutcC2

Trump never learned how to negotiate anything. He gathers intelligence by falsely representing himself so as to arrange the best parachuting away from a bad situation (he made). Maybe that's OK if you're a NYC real estate pirate. But not as president of the USA. #TrumpShutdown

I've said it b4, Trump can't negotiate or compromise. He"s a spoiled little bastard that feels he should get everything he wants. Schumer offered the wall in exchange for DACA. That's negotiating/ compromising, buy Trump then wanted 4 or 5 more things.

The President walked away from what would have been a good deal for him. He could have gotten the border wall funding. That would have helped him. He needs to not listen to the people who are advising him.

Sorry but y’all don’t have enough people who care enough that will allow him to even finish out 2018. The sad thing is he won’t go down in the history books as being the shortest term president ever, he will go down in history for much much worse. Y’all have blinders on. :-(
