When Obama was the president, the GOP-controlled House caused the shut-down by refusing to pass a budget. Now the GOP controls the House, the Senate and the presidency. It's history. Learn it.

4 years ago it was Trump who said the president should be blamed for government shutdown, since, after all, the president is the head of the government. Today, he doesn't accept blame, but blames minority Dems. Facts. Learn them. Trump's blame game.

Then why is it up to Congress to make decisions?

How disingenuous--when NYT knows it is Dems support of DACA fix that is causing the shutdown!!!

Deutsche Bank reports suspicious transactions by Jared Kushner. She has, according to information from manager magazin, clues to the dubious affairs of Donald Trump's son-in-law. http://spon.de/ae9ox

Remember when Deutsche Bank had all those insider trading transactions that happened just before 9/11? I wouldn't trust that bank with much honesty.

Yes, that's why it's good that Mueller will investigate the case.

But now the Mueller investigation is ready to implode because, if this memo is as damaging as Congress is saying, the special counsel was implemented under fraudulent pretenses.

Is there a SINGLE "news" article about the ADVERSE CONSEQUENCES of "shutting down" our own Government, much less the alleged LEGAL JUSTIFICATION in light of EXPRESS LANGUAGE in Article I, Section 8 MANDATING Congress RAISE REVENUE for our General Welfare? I see that as sad.
