For some reason, I'm glad my City did not make the list. Maybe it's the huge giveaways necessary to attract Amazon.

If I'm not mistaken, the first company to have become a state was the British East India Company. The second could be #Amazon.

DearAmazon: Toronto - free gov’t health care for everyone, pay salaries $0.80 on the US dollar due to currency difference, lots of talent as existing IT & banking capital, gun control & safe, clean & no slums.

Great photo of Indy! Home of @Colts, @Pacers, Indy 500 @IMS, acclaimed Super Bowl host and site of too many NCAA basketball bracket games to count. @amazon you'll also love our universities, arts, restaurants, great quality of life and our friendly residents! Just sayin.

Why not just go to CA? I mean the CEO just donated $35 million to help Illegal Immigrants pay for their education. CA wants to be a sanctuary state. I say, let them secede & they can be employed by Amazon.

Classic negotiating tactics by Amazon...get hundreds of cities to throw money on table Top 20 get into round 2...to throw more Amazon always likely had a top 5 list...just needed Leverage to have cities/states to throw in Tax Incentives

We were hoping they would choose Huntsville, Alabama, but that was the longest of long shots. So, now the best choice-Atlanta, GA.
