I don't know why anyone is still talking about this ridiculous story. Grace couldn't even tell him she wanted red wine or she was still eating let alone say no. She had next day regrets & then goes to the media to smear a man's reputation. This is not what #metoo is about.

“Until we can clone Jeff Goldblum...” 😂We tried. It didn’t go well. But seriously, if you’re 23 years old and uncomfortable saying “no,” then maybe you’re not mature enough to be dating.pic.twitter.com/Mh0nnoqbJY

What a disappointing interview - so lacking in nuance. They all need to read Lindy West’s new piece. https://mobile.nytimes.com/redirect?to-mobile=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.nytimes.com%2F2018%2F01%2F17%2Fopinion%2Faziz-ansari-metoo-sex.html%3Freferer%3Dhttps%3A%2F%2Ft.co%2FcPw6JmHxjZ%3Famp%3D1#click=https://t.co/cPw6JmHxjZ …

West's peice is garbage. Grace is describing a clumsy attempt at sexual interaction by a guy trying to read what are obviously very mixed signals. Everyone is not always on the same page with a complete stranger during their first consensual intimate encounter.

Accountability has to be a 2 way street or this “movement” is just a tantrum heading towards a gender war. And, my emotional intelligence is fine. It’s a smooth cocktail of logic, truth and empathy. If your definition of emotional intelligence is reading a woman’s mind- b please.

This is just a date! Is anyone really surprised that the guy had sex on his mind? That this was possibly the medium range goal? Would this ever become the subject of a published article if the guy wasn’t rich and famous?

This is more about the women of Generation Snowflake and their inability to process information and function in the real world. Much of their reality is experienced digitally through social media where everything is modulated and paced by their internal dialogue, not real time.
