Whelp! This is what comes of continually pretending Trump understands policy and knows how to negotiate. It’s also revealing what many of us have known & said- the #GOPCantGovern they only know how to oppose 🤷🏾‍♀️

If a party doesn’t believe in the value of good government that seems a likely outcome. I wish this was reflected in more coverage of Congress.

I find it harder and harder every day to reconcile the COMPLETE LACK OF EMPATHY of this human being. He seems like a case study in selfishness and lack of humanity; even making decisions against political gain if they hurt people, which seems his goal.

You're right except for the part about hurting people being his goal. He ONLY thinks about himself. He doesn't mind if he hurts people & he may want revenge against specific people, but wanting to hurt people in general would require thinking about something other than himself.

After his $1.5 trillion tax giveaway, 83% of which went to top 1%, he is ready to shut down the govt rather than fund healthcare for children. What a proud time for the GOP.

Let's be honest, he probably had no idea what Republicans in Congress were actually doing and was just tweeting to respond something he saw on Fox News.

So @realDonaldTrump doesn’t like the CHIP reauth being held hostage in the CR and the Repub freedom caucus doesn’t like the #DACA inclusion in the CR...seems that the Repubs are the issue. Tell me again how this is the Dems fault when Rs own EVERYTHING.
