Here we go again with the fat scare. Fat is essential in our diet. It must, however be in proper proportion, and balanced with other components of a proper diet, accompanied by exercise and healthy lifestyle.

The mice were put on "a high-fat Western diet." Like many idiotic studies on fat, this one makes no distinction between the quality of fat. As if a piece of wild salmon has the same impact on the human body as hydrogenated fast food fat.

Probably scared of how a high fat diet makes you not hungry, thus you spend less on food.

In tumor models, corn oil is shown to stimulate prostate cancer growth to a greater extent than saturated fats and there is increasing awareness that carbohydrates and the associated elevation in serum insulin levels are involved in prostate cancer growth.https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3959866/ …

This doesn't fit the other studies I've read. Based on what I've read cancer likes sugar.
