Maybe the model is naturally skinny and can’t gain weight. She shouldn’t be lambasted because she’s skinny. Maybe folks should do a little more research first to see if there’s is really an issue

Oh dear. It is not about the model, it is about choosing this model body type at all.

So because the model is skinny she is inappropriate? Idk about modeling. I’m simply asking.

Ok, but aren't people body shaming a skinny person?

I don’t care about the model, but those are the ugliest f’ing frames I’ve seen since the 70’s.....

The model looks like Supreme court justice Ginsberg.

In other news... models don't look like "regular" people. Physical modeling isn't about role-modeling... Piers Morgan adding his voice to the "cause" is like fighting lung cancer via smoking...

While I understand everyone's concern over the alleged message being sent by this ad, body-shaming is still body shaming. How do you think the young woman in this picture feels knowing that people are trashing her for how she looks. It's not fair, and it's not right.

True enough. However if no one decides to hire said model because of how she looks than that model's career is over simply to appease people who don't find her lifestyle appropriate. Which is again, wrong.

Of course she will get more now with so much commentary on the issue, but not if she had never been chosen in the first place, due to, as you put it "issues in the industry". Victoria thought she was beautiful enough to use in her ad. That should honestly be the end of it.

Pretty sure “uproar” is the standard reaction to everything nowadays.
