If you fire people who makes mistakes, you can hire a new one to make the same mistakes. If you learn from the mistakes, you will avoid them in the future. It is bad policy just firing people at first mistake.

I agree. I don't want him used as scapegoat for actions or systems far above him. Pleased to hear no termination. LIVID for what happened with false alarm. Heartbreaking for so many residents their families & friends. A living hell. That said- no termination is good news.

Here is what I am unable to comprehend. I am in my computer. and when I want to delete a file it will ask are you sure and you answer yes or no. Why didn't a window pop up saying are you sure you want to send this alert?
