The problem with this national approach to stories about the resistance is that the action is happening hyper-locally, all over this country. I could care less about national Indivisible or national DNC or national Women's march. The real story is on the ground, and it is female.

Stop trying to pit women movements against each other. We are unified in getting the Republicans out of office.

Who’d have guessed that narcissism framed as radical self-expression, and vented through collective paroxysms of rage, wouldn’t lead to stable change? 🤔...

I was active during the "women's lib" era. Well, following on from it in the 70's. Not so keen on third wave feminism. Too much random man hating for my liking.

Well the women who marched coordinated to create positive change even after the Women’s March. Those results could not be found without the act of “marching with a sign.”

There was a day and time ... likely long before You ... When it mattered, but women wearing vulgar hats & costumes ... complaining over things that aren't ... is not fruitful! People standing in traffic ... is not fruitful ... riots r not fruitful ...this is what I'm speaking of!

you don't get to decide what is valid protest, thats not how it works. also i guarantee that people have been "standing in traffic" in protest for decades. i can read a history book or wikipedia page to affirm this, i didn't need to be around to see it to know this is true.

Well, I have been there and You're wrong as in ... Protesters who stood in traffic back then were immediately arrested. There are laws on how one can Protest & I'm not deciding anything ... just giving my OPINION based on EXPERIENCE - NOT BOOKS ... so calm down LOL!

yeah, you uh....clearly don't understand the point of protest and i'm not going to take it upon myself to explain it to you, but keeping reaping the rewards of women who "illegally" protested to make sure you have the (insufficient) rights you have today
